By engaging with the services at Real Value Tuition, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below. These terms and conditions apply to lessons in-person and online:

1. Duration and Structure of Terms: Each academic term at Real Value Tuition comprises 10 consecutive weekly lessons. Both group and private lessons are scheduled for a duration of two hours per session.

2. Payment of Fees: Term fees must be paid in full before the invoice due date. Real Value Tuition reserves the right to impose a late fee amounting to 10% of the outstanding term fee for each week the payment is delayed.

3. Term Dates for 2024:

a. Term 1: Saturday 27 January 2024 to Friday 5 April 2024
Term 2: Saturday 27 April 2024 to Friday 5 July 2024
Term 3: Saturday 20 July 2024 to Friday 27 September 2024
Term 4: Saturday 12 October 2024 to Friday 20 December 2024

b. Public Holidays: Lessons scheduled on Public Holidays will proceed as planned unless otherwise notified by Real Value Tuition.

4. Cancellations and Lesson Credits:

a. Real Value Tuition requires notification of any lesson cancellations at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson time. Upon meeting the above condition, a lesson credit will be issued against the cancelled lesson.

b. No lesson credit will be issued for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled lesson time.

c. Cancellations on the 10th week of any term are not eligible for lesson credits.

d. A maximum of two lesson credits per student may be carried over per term.

e. Any unused lesson credits will be forfeited upon termination of services from Real Value Tuition.

f. Lessons for which fees have not been paid are not eligible for credits.

5. Referral Bonus Eligibility: To qualify for a referral bonus of $50, the referred individual must enroll and complete payment for an entire term at Real Value Tuition.

6. Intellectual Property: Students are strictly prohibited from duplicating or distributing any Real Value Tuition materials, whether physically or electronically, without explicit written permission from Real Value Tuition.

7. Termination of Tuition:

a. Termination by Real Value Tuition: Real Value Tuition reserves the right to terminate tuition services under the following circumstances:

• Failure to adhere to payment obligations as outlined in Section 2.

• Violation of the terms outlined in Section 6 regarding intellectual property rights.

• Any behaviour deemed disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate towards staff or other students.

• Non-compliance with the rules and regulations of Real Value Tuition.

b. Termination by Parents and Students: Parents and Students may terminate tuition services by providing written notice to Real Value Tuition. Termination requests are subject to the following conditions:

• Notice period: A minimum notice period of 7 days is required before termination takes effect, allowing for a smooth transition for both the student and Real Value Tuition.

• Payment obligations: Parents and Students are responsible for any outstanding fees up to the effective date of termination.

• Lesson credits: Any unused lesson credits will be forfeited upon termination of services.

• Refunds: No refunds will be issued for terminated tuition services, except as outlined in Section 4 for eligible cancellations.

c. Refunds upon Termination: In the event of termination by Real Value Tuition, a pro-rata refund may be issued for any prepaid tuition fees covering the period beyond the termination date.

d. Return of Materials: Upon termination of tuition services, students must return any borrowed materials, including textbooks, equipment, or other resources provided by Real Value Tuition.

e. Effect of Termination: Termination of tuition services shall not relieve either party of any obligations accrued prior to the termination date.
